Privacy Policy

This policy explains how OC Maker AI handles your account details, uploaded reference images, generation history, payments, cookies, and support communications.

Effective date: August 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how OC Maker AI collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use ocmakerai.org and related services.

1. Information we collect
Account data: when you register, we collect your email address and basic account preferences. Generation history: your prompts, the images and videos you generate, and the reference images you upload to keep characters consistent. Payment data: credit and debit card payments are processed by Stripe — we never receive or store full card numbers on our servers; we receive only a customer identifier and billing status. Technical data: device type, browser, approximate region derived from IP address, and aggregate usage analytics. Support data: the content of emails you send to [email protected].

2. How we use information
We use information to operate the service, keep you signed in, track your credit balance, process payments, generate AI outputs, prevent abuse, troubleshoot, improve model and product quality, and respond to support requests.

3. Uploaded images and generation history
Reference images and prompts are processed to generate your results. We store your generation history in your account so you can revisit and re-download your characters, and we retain recent generations to deliver results, maintain history, prevent abuse, and debug failures. You can delete individual generations from your history, or request deletion of your account and its data at any time by emailing [email protected]. Do not upload images you do not have the right to use.

4. Cookies, local storage, and analytics
We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in, remember your locale and interface preferences, and maintain your free trial credit state between visits. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate product usage. You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings; some features (such as staying signed in) will not work without them.

5. How information is shared
We share data only with service providers that help us run the platform: hosting and storage, AI model providers, payment processing (Stripe), email, and analytics. These providers process data on our instructions under contractual confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the service. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your uploads to advertise to you.

6. Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights (GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws)
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information, the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. California residents may opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — as noted above, we do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, email [email protected]; we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

8. Data retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Generation history and uploads are retained until you delete them or delete your account. Billing records are retained for the period required by tax and accounting law. When data is deleted, residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before permanent deletion.

9. Children's privacy
OC Maker AI is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Policy updates
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
